INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Glue foam pot insert to clay pot (if using foam block, trim block to fit pot; glue in place).
2. Make bunny's head by cutting a point in both ends of a craft stick. Push one end into wide end of small egg, letting it extend 2" from foam. Glue to secure.
3. Cut four 3" and four 3-1/2" lengths of beige loopy chenille. Attach 3-1/2" lengths evenly spaced to small egg, pinning chenille at narrow and wide ends of egg. Pin 3" lengths to fill in between longer ones.
4. Make bunny's body by cutting 3/4" from wide end of large egg to flatten bottom; use serrated knife waxed with candle stub to cut foam. Cut points in ends of remaining craft stick. Insert one end in flat bottom of large egg 3/4" from edge. Glue to secure, letting it extend 2-3/4" from foam.
5. Cut three 5" and five 4" lengths of beige loopy chenille. Follow Step 3 to attach 5" lengths, then 4" lengths to egg, leaving a dime-size circle of foam uncovered at narrow end.
6. Join head to body by inserting craft stick from small egg into narrow end of large egg. Glue craft stick to secure. Glue hat to head.
7. Loosely roll two 3" lengths of beige loopy chenille into balls for cheeks and glue side by side to bottom of head. Glue pink pom pom nose and black bead eyes to face just above cheeks (refer to photo).
8. Cut following lengths of loopy chenille: two 10" ears; two 11" arms; two 16" legs. Fold each length in half and twist ends together to secure. Using T-pins and glue, attach body parts to bunny as specified. Pin ears to center top of head/hat, 1" apart, curling tips of ears over brim. Pin arms to sides of body just below neck and bend ends forward. Pin legs to center bottom front of body. Shape in a sitting position, bending and twisting legs at knees and feet.
9. Roll white loopy chenille into a ball. Glue and pin to center bottom back of body for a tail.
10. Iron fusible web to wrong side of homespun fabric, following manufacturer's instructions. Using pattern, cut vest from fused fabric. Cut slits for arm openings where indicated. Place vest on bunny and pin just below chin.
11. Tie wire-edge ribbon in a bow around bunny's neck.
12. Attach bunny body to clay pot, inserting craft stick extension into foam insert near back. Reshape legs as desired, letting one hang down over pot rim (refer to photo).
13. Insert flower and vegetable picks into pot in front of bunny between legs (refer to photo). Secure with glue. Cut a carrot from a vegetable pick and glue it to end of bunny's right arm. Insert carrot seed garden stake into pot in front of opposite arm. Wrap arm around stake and glue. Glue a cluster of green raffia to left side of pot behind bunny. Glue grasshopper or bug to bunny's hat.
14. Glue assorted lengths of ivy to fill in arrangement as desired, letting some drape over sides of clay pot (refer to photo). Glue floral moss to cover any exposed foam.
15. Form a multi-loop bow from a 1-1/2 yd. length of jute. Secure bow at center with a floral pin and attach to foam at front of pot, slightly off-center. Repeat to form small bow from remaining jute and attach between vegetable picks.
